Will You Be Watching 'The Match'?

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will square off in a made-for-TV match this weekend.
So, there's a US$9 million winner-takes-all golf match happening on Saturday morning Australian time and, if you're reading this, you probably already know about it.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will face off near Las Vegas in a made-for-TV match that is closed to the public and available to watch on pay-per-view TV.

'The Match', as it's being billed, will be staged at the super-private Shadow Creek Golf Course with only VIPs and sponsors able to actually attend in person.

According to major championship performance, Woods and Mickelson are the two greatest golfers still actively competing, but some, including iSeekGolf Podcast host Rod Morri, are not enthused about 'The Match'.

Woods and Mickelson start their match play showdown at 7am Saturday AEST time, which means it should finish not long before the start of Channel Nine's coverage of day three of the Melbourne World Cup of Golf at 12 noon.

So where do you stand on 'The Match'?
