If you're trying to think of an Australian professional golfer who doesn't receive due credit for their winning ways, Scott Hend fits the bill.

The Queenslander's win yesterday at the Maybank Championship was not only his third win on the European Tour but the 10th time he's claimed an Asian Tour event.

But the 45-year-old isn't as well known back home as some of the high-profile Australians who compete primarily in the US.
