Two Australians - Marcus Both and Nabil Abdul - will be in the field at Karachi Golf Club in the Pakistani capital for the US$300,000 UMA CNS Open Golf Championship beginning tomorrow.
It's the first time in more than a decade that the Asian Tour has ventured to Pakistan.
70 Pakistani golfers are set to tee it up in the full field event at the country's oldest golf club but the sport remains a fledgling one in Pakistan and well and truly in the shadows of the nation's favourite sporting pastime of cricket.
World No. 1603 Hamza Amin is easily Pakistan's highest ranked professional golfer and is the only player from his nation who has any world ranking points.
Amin walks us through the ninth hole of the Blue course at Karachi Golf Club, which he says is "definitely the signature hole of the entire country."
