Web.Com Tour stays in South America

The Web.Com Tour moves north and east from Chile to Brazil for this week's Brasil Champions Presented by HSBC at the Sao Paulo Golf Club in Sao Paulo.

Last year Benjamin Alvarado, a native of Chile won the inaugural staging of the event over South African Dawie Van der Velt. Van der velt is in this year's field while for Alvarado his victory helped him get to the PGA Tour where he wil play in Florida this week.

Steve Alker, Steve Allan, Adam Crawford, Nick Flanagan, Mathew Goggin, Ashley Hall, Peter Lonard, James Nitties, Cameron Percy, last week's runner-up Alistair Presnell, Aron Price and Jake Younan make up the Australasian contingent with Scott Hend hoping against hope for a start from the reserve bench.
