The Web.Com Tour finishes its regular season schedule in Portland in Oregon this week when the inaugural staging of the Winco Foods Portland Open is played at the Witch Hollow at Pumpkin Ridge in North Plains.

The leading 75 players on the 2014 money list at the completion of this week's event will get the chance to play the first of the four Web.Com Tour Finals beginning next week in Fort Wayne in Indiana, the leading 25 of those already guaranteed a place on the PGA Tour next season although their level of status will be determined based on where they finish at the completion of the Finals.

This week's event carries one of the bigger regular season purses (US$800,000) and so a lot of places in both the Finals and on the 2015 PGA Tour are up for grabs.

Two Australasians are guaranteed PGA Tour status next season, Steve Alker and Cameron Percy enjoying that thought as they head into this week and the Finals to hopefully improve their standing.

Others could do with a good week this week namely, Steve Allan (35th) Rod Pampling (37th), Ashley Hall, (39th) Alistair Presnell (44th), Aron Price (52nd), Adam Crawford, (63rd), Scott Gardiner (84th), Gavin Coles (90th), James Nitties (97th), Nick O'Hern (137th), and Peter Lonard (154th).
