Web.com Tour recommences in Brazil

The Web.Com Tour recommences its schedule this week when its 5th event of the season, the Brasil Classic, is played at the Sao Paulo Golf Club in that city.

After the three events earlier in the season in Central and South America, the Tour returns to the region for the one off event before heading back to North America for the remainder of the season.

Only one of the leading five money winners from the season to date, Kevin Foley, is in the field leaving the stage wide open for not only those chasing the early leaders but for those just chasing a place in the field.

The golf course, built in the late 1930's and designed by Stanley Thompson and Robert Trent Jones, is a good one by all accounts with tight fairways and several out of bounds and should provide a strong test.

Thirteen Australasians make are in the field namely Danny Lee, Ashley Hall, Peter Lonard, Andrew Buckle, Tim Wilkinson, Craig Hocknull, Steve Allan, Steve Alker, Aron Price, Adam Crawford, Ewan Porter, Bronson La Cassie and Bryden Macpherson.
