Just two weeks after her great victory at the Women' Australian Open, Karrie Webb has the halfway lead at the HSBC Champions event at the Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore, the Australian two shots ahead of American Angela Stanford with a further shot back to Taiwan' Teresa Lu.

Webb added a second round of 69 to her opening 66 to lead over the 2012 champion Stanford.

The 39 year old Australian is chasing her 41st LPGA title and in all likelihood is a strong possibility to do so.

Webb has followed up her very good season in 2013 with a win at the Victoria Golf Club and now an opportunity to add yet another title so soon.

Katherine Kirk, the only other Australian in the field, is in 35th position
