According to the PGA Tour of Australia's website the following outlines the opportunities are available to those competing at the Final Stage.
"Those players ranked in positions 1-10 from the 2012/13 PGA Tour of Australasia Qualifying School will be placed in Tournament Exemption Category 11 for next year. This opportunity provides an excellent incentive for those players planning the next step in their professional development.
Category 11 not only offers these players Full Tournament Membership of the PGA of Australia and the opportunity to compete in all PGA Tour of Australasia events but it is anticipated that it will also provide a pathway to the flourishing OneAsia Tour.
Those players ranked in positions 11-40 and those tied for 40th place from the 2012/13 PGA Tour of Australasia Qualifying School will be placed in Tournament Exemption Category 13. Traditionally, this category has gained a start in each of the State Based Championships and some of the Tier 1 events that are not co-sanctioned with another Tour.
The remaining players who make the final cut at Final Stage of the School will be placed in Category 20. It is anticipated that these players will gain a start in most, if not all State Based Championships in 2013.
All of the players who successfully make the final cut at Final Stage of the 2012/13 Qualifying School will, as Tournament Members, obtain an exemption category for Tier Three (Pro-Am) events. However, it should be noted that not all of the players ranked 41 onwards at Qualifying School will gain a start in every pro-am event due to the popularity of some of the larger events."
