Seven Australasians have finishes inside the top twenty at the first of two final stages for the 2014 China Golf Tour and will get the opportunity to play the 12 tournament schedule to be run by the PGA Tour.

The first event was played at the CTS Tycoon Shenzhen Golf Club.

Former USPGA Tour player, David Lutterus of South Australia, led the qualifiers and will be joined by Aaron Townsend, Scott Laycock, Ryan Haller, Gavin Flint and New Zealanders Mathew Perry and Mahal Pearce in the inaugural China Golf Tour series of events beginning next month.

The second stage of qualifying where another 20 will graduate to the recently established series of events gets under way next week at the Mission Hills Golf Club in Haikou on the island of Hainan.

Leading players at the completion of the 2014 China Golf Tour gain access to the 2015 Web.Com Tour.
