Season finale for Japan Tour

Bland leads Australians on money list (Photo: Bruce Young)
The Japan Tour plays its final event of the 2015 season in Tokyo this week when the leading thirty players on the 2016 money list do battle for the Golf Nippon Series event at the Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club in the suburbs of Tokyo.

The event is essentially the Japan Tour’s Tour Championship although they do have another event earlier in the season under that name.

Katsumasa Miyamoto is the defending champion but Korea’s KT Kim will be all the rage given his huge lead on the money list this season and his occasional good finish in this event.

Ryo Ishikawa has been in good form of late including a win in Hokkaido earlier in the year and a runner-up finish at the Casio Open last week.

Adam Bland who currently leads the Australians on the money list and Brad Kennedy are the two Australians in the field and will be joined by, amongst others, New Zealander Michael Hendry who just crept into the field.
