IF you were wondering why there's always such a fuss about Brett Rumford's short game you'll find the answer in this video from this week's Scandinavian Masters in Sweden.
The clip was shot by fellow touring professional Dimi Papadatos and shows Rumford, in street shoes, hitting what can only be described as an incredible flop shot.
With a 5-iron.
Those familiar with the late Seve Ballesteros will likely have seen similar amazing efforts from the Spaniard but the reality is there aren't many golfers, even in the pro ranks, who can pull off a shot like this.
The fact Papadatos felt compelled to capture the shot on video is evidence of how impressive it is.
"Brett Rumford chipping onto putting green (With 5 iron if you don't mind)," wrote Papadatos on Instagram.
"Just wondering what the fine is for this breach of conduct. Also taking into consideration he is wearing brown loafers with black pants @europeantour."
Rumford is known amongst his peers as being in an elite category around the greens and with the sort of hand eye co-ordination required to pull this off, that comes as no surprise.
