The Puerto Rico Open is led through the halfway stage by two time PGA Tour winner James O'Driscoll, a second round of 63 leaving the 36 year old one ahead of Chesson Hadley with Eric Axley in 3rd position.

The leading Australasian is New Zealander Danny Lee, finally halting a run of six consecutive missed cuts this season to be in 4th position at 9 under and three from the lead.

Steven Bowditch is the leading Australian in 25th position while West Australian Brady Watt, playing the event on invite, is next best in 33rd place ensuring, at worst, his first cheque as a professional.

Rod Pampling and Bronson La Cassie also made the cut.
