Australia's Cameron Percy and New Zealander Steve Alker share second position, one shot behind former amateur star, Michael Kim, through 36 holes of the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield in Missouri.

Alker and Percy share second with Scott Pickney, Alexander Rocha and Martin Piller.

Alker is already safe in the knowledge that he will play the PGA Tour next year following a stellar season to date but for Percy the remaining 36 holes of this event could be the key to his chances of returning to the PGA Tour.

Percy has recorded three top tens to date this season but is currently in 33rd position on the money list but likely needs another $50,000 - 60,000 in the remaining three events if he is to be any chance of securing a return to the PGA Tour in 2015 before the playoffs.

Rod Pampling is 19th, Steve Allan, Mathew Goggin and Aron Price are 38th and Peter Lonard 50th.
