Minjee Lee has kept the door of a 5th LPGA Tour title open with a third round of 69 at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship, the 23 year old West Australian now four shots from the lead of Nelly Korda and Wei-Ling Hsu and in a share of 9th place as the event enters tomorrow’s final round.

Lee raced through the front nine in 32 today and appeared as if she might finish a lot closer than would eventually be the case but the momentum slowed over the closing nine holes and a bogey at the last could yet prove very costly in the final analysis tomorrow.

Lee’s round of 69 was the second best of the day behind Sung Hyun Park’s 68 and allowed her to improve ten position from her overnight standing.

Korda and Hsu lead by two over Jin Young Ko, Bronte law, Megan Khang, Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Lydia Ko with Annie Park another shot back.

Hannah Green is the next best of the Australians in 25th place.
