Minjee Lee contends at Kingsmill

West Australian LPGA Tour rookie, Minjee Lee, is in a share of second position two shots behind American Alison Lee at the Kingsmill Championship in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Lee has had mixed results to date this season after securing her LPGA Tour playing rights late in 2014 but there has been enough to suggest that the class she showed in the professional ranks will be realised before long.

The former two time Australian Amateur Champion and US Junior Girls Champion added a second round of 67 today to share second place with second season player, Frenchwoman Perrine Delacour.

Queenslander, Sarah Jane Smith, who finished runner-up in the event last year, is the next best of the Australians in 30th position.
