33 year old South Korean, Meena Lee, has played the LPGA Tour since 2005 but although she has been a two time winner in that time her last victory came in 2006.

Eight years after that second victory she leads the North Texas LPGA Shootout into the weekend after rounds of 70 and 64 have her tied with Germany's Caroline Masson with the ever present Stacy Lewis and Natalie Gulbis one shot further back.

Lee opened her second round in the best possible manner with an eagle at her first hole and after making the turn in 31 she added three more birdies on the way in to finish with 64.

An improving Katherine Kirk is in a share of 11th and leads the Australians, Sarah Kemp is 20th while Sarah Jane Smith and Stacy Keating, who was a late inclusion in the field, also made the cut.
