Victorian golfer Matthew griffin continues to fly under the radar of professional golf and this past week was a further example with his victory at the Yamaha Hankyung Korean PGA Championship at the Sky72 Resort in Incheon near Seoul.

Griffin has played well in Korea in the past having won two events on the One Asia Tour and at his previous start had also finished 13th at the Korean Tour's Gunsan CC Open.

Earlier this season Griffin, who turned professional in 2008, won the Victorian Open and given his lack of status on a major tour continues to earn a good living out of the game.

Many of those in this week's event were amongst Korea's leading players including several of those who play the Japan Tour.

Griffin earned 1 billion Korean won (A$210,000) and moves to 5th on the 2014 Korean PGA Tour's Order of Merit.
