Tour rookie, Alex Prugh, and fifth year player, Bubba Watson, at 23 under, lead into the final round by one shot over Bill Haas and South African Tim Clark, the common denominator amongst the group is that they are all looking for their first PGA Tour victory.
There is quite a contrast between the relative PGA Tour experience amongst the quartet. Prugh is playing in just his third PGA Tour event and only his second as a card holder, Watson is playing his 110th, Haas is in his 141st PGA Tour event, while Tim Clark is the most experienced and successful of the players with 196 starts until this week.
Clark has been six times runner up in PGA Tour events and it might just be that his time has come.
Joe Ogilvie is on his own in 5th place and just two behind the lead while one shot further back is a group of four players, namely former winner, Mike Weir, Matt Kuchar, Kevin Streelman and Martin Flores. Both Streelman and Flores are also looking for their breakthrough wins.
The leading Australian is Steve Elkington who is five behind the lead at 18 under, Matt Jones is at 17 under and John Senden the next best at 15 under.
