Lucrative Jeep Series underway At Moonah

The opening round of the Jeep Pro-Am Series got underway yesterday at the Legends Course at Moonah Links on the Mornington Peninsula, this week's event to be followed by similar events at Kooindah Waters from June 14th - 17th, Royal Pines Resort August 30th - September 2nd, The Vines from 8th to 11th November and the Final back at Royal Pines from November 29th to December 2nd.

Each event will be played for $100,000 with approximately 60 professionals teaming with an amateur partner.

In yesterday's opening round Terry Pilkadaris recorded a round of 66 to lead by one over Henry Epstein and Marcus Both with Mahal Pearce, Ben Wharton, Andrew Kelly and Ashley Hall one shot further back.

The field will play round two over the Open Course.

The leading two professionals at the end of the overall Series will secure an all expenses trip to a recognised qualifying school in addition to the prizeomney available in each event.
