LPGA plays HSBC Champions

The LPGA Tour moves from Thailand to Singapore for this week's HSBC Champions event at the Serapong Course at the Sentosa Golf Club where Stacy Lewis will defend the title.

Lewis put together a solid tournament last week in Thailand when finishing in a share of 5th and a bold bid to successfully defend is expected.

Other recent winners include Angela Stanford and Karrie Webb.

The field includes every one of the Rolex World Ranking top ten beginning with last week's runner -up in Thailand Inbee Park.

Park does not enjoy a good record at Sentosa so whether she can follow up her good start to the season last week is questionable.

There will be a lot of interest in the efforts of Michelle Wie and Yani Tseng who both played well in Thailand last week. Both have been to hell and back with their games in recent times but are amongst the most talented players in the game and a continuation of their good form will be eagerly anticipated.

Karrie Webb, Lydia Ko and Katherine Kirk are the three Australasians in the field.
