Leishman switched to the Callaway GBB Epic driver earlier this year and, as he stated after his victory, a combination of added length off the tee and improved accuracy was crucial in his one-shot win at Bay Hill.
“I got a new Callaway driver [GBB Epic] in the bag at the start of the year and it's really been a game changer,” the Victorian said. “I've been driving it better than I ever have. “Which, it's funny, the game's a lot easier out of the fairway [laughing],” added the Warrnambool native. “So that's been probably the biggest difference and then just the putter [Odyssey Versa 1W (Black-White-Black)].
“The putter's been amazing this year. The stats probably show that, especially this week. But I feel like all year it's been really close and I just haven't played how I wanted to on Sundays, but today was great.”
