Leishman Credits Callaway GBB Epic After Arnold Palmer Invitational Win

Marc Leishman’s win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational provided a significant boost for Callaway with the 33-year-old specifically crediting two flagships of the Callaway range as being particularly important in securing his second PGA Tour title.

Leishman switched to the Callaway GBB Epic driver earlier this year and, as he stated after his victory, a combination of added length off the tee and improved accuracy was crucial in his one-shot win at Bay Hill.

“I got a new Callaway driver [GBB Epic] in the bag at the start of the year and it's really been a game changer,” the Victorian said. “I've been driving it better than I ever have.

“Which, it's funny, the game's a lot easier out of the fairway [laughing],” added the Warrnambool native. “So that's been probably the biggest difference and then just the putter [Odyssey Versa 1W (Black-White-Black)].

“The putter's been amazing this year. The stats probably show that, especially this week. But I feel like all year it's been really close and I just haven't played how I wanted to on Sundays, but today was great.”
