Krywulycz records first professional win

Sydney golfer Mitch Krywulycz has won his first professional event with a victory at the in The eGolf Professional Tour's Sedgefield Classic in Greensboro, N.C.

The 25 year old Krywulycz, a member of the successful Augusta State collegiate team in 2010 and 2011 during his time there, won the title by a massive nine shots.

A former member of the New South Wales Golf Club and a former Australian Schoolboys Champion, Krywulycz has now played ten events on the eGolf Tour this season but had recorded only one top ten until this week. He won US$15,000 for his win.

The eGolf Tour consists of a 24 event schedule and is a pay to play mini tour series. This and other such tours as the Hooters and Gateway Tours has often been the breeding grounds for future PGA Tour stars and Krywulycz's breakthrough might just be the catalyst for more to come.
