LPGA Tour rookies dominate the leaderboard at the halfway stage of the JTCB Founders Cup in Phoenix with Korean Mi Rim Lee two ahead of New Zealander Lydia Ko.

Lee qualified for the LPGA Tour by finishing runner-up at the Tour School last year while Lydia Ko, although technically a rookie, has already won two LPGA Tour titles.

Sun Young Yoo, yet another Korean, is in 3rd position one shot behind Ko.

Of the first seven players only Ko and 4th placed Jessica Korda are no Korean nationals although Ko was of course born and raised there until the age of 3.

Inbee Park and So Yeon Ryu are amongst the group in a share of 4th.

Karrie Webb is in a share of 13th position at 7 under and six shots from the lead and leads the Australians while Sarah Jane Smith has played well to be in 16th position.
