Josh Geary wins again on China Tour

New Zealander Josh Geary has not only won his third tournament of the year on the China Tour but in doing so has assured himself of a full card to play the Web.Com Tour in 2016 by winning the Yulongwan Yunnan Open.

The leading five players on the 2015 China Tour money list earn the right to play the Web.Com Tour in 2016 and Geary’s lead on that list is so great that he is on his way to the Web.Com Tour in 2016.

Geary not only won this week but during round three he holed in one to add even further lustre to a great week.

Geary won by one shot over Thailand’s Gunn Charoenkul while Australia’s Bryden Macpherson and New Zealand’s Daniel Pearce tied for third, six shots behind.

Macpherson moves into 4th position on the money list and is now in line for a Web.Com Tour card and Pearce is now 11th.

The China Golf Tour will now play next week’s Lushan Open.
