Jonas Blixt leads in Vegas

Swede's this week either lead or have a share of the lead at both the PGA Tour and Web.Com Tour events at the halfway stage.

A few hours after David Lingmerth took a one shot lead into the weekend at the Neediest Kids Championship in Washington DC, his fellow countryman, rookie Jonas Blixt, is tied in the lead with Zimbabwe's Brendon de Jonge at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.

The pair lead by one over the in-form Ryan Moore with another shot back to Tim Herron and Daniel Summerhays.

Vijay Singh and the pre tournament favourite, Nick Watney, are in a group on shot further back.

Nathan Green is the best of the Australians in 33rd position, Jason Day and Mathew Goggin 46th and Rod Pampling 61st.

Green, Goggin and Pampling all need a good run through the Fall Series of events if they are to retain their full PGA Tour playing privileges.
