Is There a Golf Hole That's Got Your Number?

For the second straight year Scott Hend lost a play-off at the European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland and both times it has been the 18th hole that has done him in.

Even when he plays the hole almost perfectly - as he did on the second journey in extra time this year - he still can't seem to reap the reward, two fabulous shots punished by a missed birdie putt for the win from less than six feet.

Hend's scoring on the hole isn't terrible - he was even par in five attempts  last year and 1-under for seven tries this year - but when it comes to the crunch, nothing good ever seems to happen.

Twice he made miraculous pars after hooking his tee shot last year while a miss in the fairway bunker to the right this year eventually led to his demise.
