Australia is among 46 countries celebrating the day at more than 700 locations globally.
Roseville and Liverpool golf clubs in Sydney, Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club in northern NSW, Paradise Palms in Queensland and Melville Glades in WA are among 13 venues nationwide which are staging events to mark the second annual International Women’s Golf Day.
Also among the host venues is indoor golf simulator franchise, Big Swing Golf, which is running events at its six locations across Sydney, Melbourne and country Victoria.
International Women’s Golf Day is a one-day event celebrating girls and women playing the game and is marketed as an opportunity for first-timers to pick up a club alongside existing players.
