Korean, In Gee Chun, leads the Evian Championship in France, her opening two rounds of 63 and 66 having her in the lead by two over China’s Shanshan Feng and Korean, Sung Hyun Park.

So Yeon Ryu is alone in 4th position and three shots from the lead.

The 2015 US Women’s Open Champion, Chun has continued on from her great year last year and although she has not won in 2016, in what is essentially her rookie season, she has recorded six top three finishes.

World number one and defending champion, Lydia Ko, kept her hopes alive with a second round of 68 although she is a massive nine shots from Chun’s lead.

Sarah Jane Smith heads the Australians in a share of 13th position with Ko and others while Su Oh is 57th and Minjee Lee just made the cut on the number in 65th position.
