American Gavin Hall has a two shot lead at the halfway mark of the Porter Cup at Niagara Falls but Australians, Harrison Endycott and Viraaat Badhwar, are close enough if good enough over the final 36 holes.

21 year old Hall, who attended the University of Texas, has recorded rounds of 65 and 66 to be two ahead of Endycott and five ahead of Badhwar.

Endycott is in the middle of several amateur events over the North American summer where he recently finished runner-up at the prestigious Players Am event in South Carolina and earlier in the year won the Lake Macquarie International in his home state of NSW.

Endycott is currently Australia’s third highest world ranked amateur behind Curtis Luck and Cameron Davis.

Badhwar, a Queenslander, is a former World Junior Champion and in 2013 won the Master of the Amateur title in Melbourne. In recent years he has attended the Stanford University in California.
