WESLEY Bryan has been a revelation on the Web.com Tour in 2016 but older brother George can play a bit, too.
The pair are famous for their trick shots under the moniker of 'The Bryan Bros' and while Wesley has less time for that sort of thing now that he has earned a PGA Tour card, George still produces the odd gem.
This week, George decided to celebrate college football season getting underway in the US with a special effort at the home stadium of his former college, University of South Carolina.
Perched high in the bleachers well above the ground, George takes aim at a rubbish bin which has been placed in the middle of the field.
Cameras mounted both on the bin and in the stand catch the action as George takes a healthy swing and sends the ball towards its target.
After a full eight seconds of hang time, the ball finds its target, breaking through the paper and dropping into the bin.
George is clearly pretty pleased with his effort and why not? It’s a remarkable effort from such long range though it isn’t clear if he nailed the shot with his first swing.
The Bryan Brothers found fame three years ago when they started a Youtube channel showing off some impressive trick shots.
They eventually featured on the US Golf Channels’ Big Break series and Wesley has now gone on to win three times on the Web.com Tour and earn his card for the 2017 PGA Tour.
George has caddied for Bryan several times including for his first Web.com win at the Louisiana Open in March.
