Fujita putting stamp on great season

Already an unassailable leader on the Japan Golf Tour's money list, Hiroyuki Fujita has positioned himself to finish the season off in style by taking a five shot lead into the weekend at the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup in Tokyo.

The winner of this event in each of the past two years, Fujita took control of the tournament in yesterday opening round when he recorded a 9 under par 61 and today added a 66 to lead over American Han Lee with a resurgent Ryo Ishikawa one shot further back in a tie for 3rd with Kyung Tae Kim and Toshinori Muto.

Brad Kennedy is the best of the two Australians in the 26 man field field, the Queenslander in a share of 7th position at 5 under and 8 behind Fujita.

Former winner Brendan Jones has had a surprising opening two days and is in 24th position after a second round of 76.
