Four Australians advance at British Am

Four Australians have made it through to the match play phase of the British Amateur Championship following qualifying at the Carnoustie and Panmure Golf Clubs in Scotland.

New South Wales' Harrison Endycott tied for 7th, D.J. Loypur tied for 20th and Taylor MacDonald and Cameron Davis tied for 32nd.

Carnoustie hosts the match play rounds beginning tonight.

Australia's world ranked amateur Ryan Ruffles missed out by one shot on a playoff for a place in the leading 64 qualifiers, Lucas Herbert and Antonio Murdaca amongst other leading players unable to advance.

New Zealander Ryan Chisnall tied as the leading qualifier along with Scotland's Craig Howie.
