Five way tie at Master of the Amateurs

Five players lead after the opening round of the 2013 Master of the Amateurs at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club's West Course.

Defending champion Nathan Holman, recent West Australian Open runner-up Brady Watt, Victorian Geoff Drakeford, Sydney's Jordan Junic and Queensland's Viraat Badhwar have each begun with opening rounds of 67 in the 72 hole event to lead by one over a large group at 68 which includes the brilliant 14 year old Chinese star, Guan Tianlang.

Also on 68 are West Australian Daniel Hoeve, Canada's Garrett Rank, Swede Axel Rannar and Ewan Scott of Scotland.
