The Web.Com Tour resumes this week when the United Leasing and Finance Championship is played at the Victoria Golf Club in Newburgh in Indiana, the event being played for the 6th occasion.

After a rather stop start and wide travelling schedule to this point, the Web.Com Tour builds some continuity over the next few weeks with an almost continuous schedule over the next few months.

Australians have not experienced a lot of success at the venue, Ashley Hall’s runner-up finish in 2013 the best finish recorded by an Australian.

Eight Australians will get an opportunity to improve on that record this week however and an eclectic mix they are.

Stuart Appleby, Robert Allenby, Mark Hensby, Peter Lonard, Steven Allan, Rhein Gibson, Jamie Arnold and Bryden MacPherson all tee it up on Thursday, MacPherson doing best of the Australians in last year's event when he finished 31st.

After five events of the 2017 Web.Com Tour season Robert Allenby currently heads the Australians on the Web.Com Tour money list although he is in 46th position and just ahead of Rhein Gibson.
