Having spent last week in the reflected glory of that produced by Andrew Dodt’s great week at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, New South Wales golfer Dimi Papadatos gets the chance to create some of his own magic this week when he tees it up in a Challenge Tour event in Switzerland.

Papadatos caddied last week for his good friend Dodt who led into the final round before finishing sixth, and with a start in the Swiss Challenge near Lucerne, will look to convert his own good recent form in Australia into a win that could help establish him on the Challenge Tour and hopefully on to the European Tour in 2018.

Papadatos, the 2014 New Zealand Open champion and a two-time winner on the PGA Tour of Australasia already in 2017, has a start in Switzerland courtesy of ISM player manager Chubby Chandler who will also look to secure other starts for the resurgent New South Welshman.

The 25-year-old joined the management stable of ISM earlier this year and is now well placed to gain further starts in Europe as the season progresses.

Papadatos will be joined in this week's field by fellow Australians Nick Cullen, Ben Eccles, Jordan Zunic, Ryan McCarthy and Daniel Gaunt.
