The follow-through is really important. You want to finish in balance with the weight on the left side, looking at the target.
So this drill is fun but a little risky.
What I want you to do, and you will learn instinctively, I'm going to throw my golf club to that bag.
What I have to do is stay looking at the bag, and from here I'm going to throw my club at the bag.
So, if you don't have the space to throw a club, the shake hands drill will work just as well.
You swing back and you're just going through as if you're shaking hands.
I'm swinging down the target line, I'm shaking hands with someone my own height.
When you've got a club, it just pulls you further through.
