If you don't do these two drills, you aren't serious about improving your scoring.
The first drill I want you to do before you go to the first hole involves getting the speed of the greens, speed is really important, so what I want you to do is not go to a hole, but go to the side of the green.
You're going to do something like that Jordan Spieth does, you're going to look at where you want the ball to roll.
So I set up, notice I'm looking where I want the ball to roll and I'm just rolling it to the edge of the green.
We all instincively have more feel than we give ourselves credit for, so it may take you about six balls to do this, so do six balls just looking and reacting to get the speed of the greens.
Then, before you go to the first tee, it's important to experience success.
I don't want you to go to that first tee missing shots, missing a four-foot putt, five-foot putt, so what I want you to do is give yourself the simplest putt that you're confident with and I want success.
I want you to hear the ball going into the hole, so do a couple of putts that are giving you success.
If you can't spend just two minutes doing this before you're teeing off with your putting, you're not serious about improving your scoring.
