China Series continues in Guangdong

The second event of the PGA Tour's China Golf Series begins this Thursday at the Buick Open at the Dragon Lake Golf Club in Guangdong Province in Southern China where a large number of Australasians get their chance to advance their chances of gaining access to the Web.Com Tour at year's end.

The opening event of the 12 tournament series was played two weeks ago at the Mission Hills Golf complex on Hainan Island where Korean 18 year old, J.H. Wang, won by a massive ten shots.

Eighteen Australasians are entered in the field headed in terms of world ranking by Aaron Townsend, who finished 8th in the opening event of the season, with Bryden Macpherson the next best.

Stephen Dartnall and Ray Beaufils had good weeks at Mission Hills and could go on with it this week.

Former PGA Tour player David Lutterus is also down to play the event after winning one of the two qualifying school events last month.
