Cameron Davis plays first PGA Tour event

It is perhaps fitting that the very first of hopefully many PGA Tour events which New South Wales golfer, Cameron Davis, will get to play will be over the same layout on which he won the individual title at the recent Eisenhower Trophy.

Davis, who made the decision to turn professional soon after the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in Korea where he placed 4th, has an invite to play the OHL Mayakoba Classic this week and there appears no better place to make his debut on the PGA Tour.

Davis will join fellow Australians Marc Leishman, Cameron Smith, Greg Chalmers and Steven Bowditch in a field which includes Jim Furyk, Emiliano Grillo and Russell Knox to name but a few.
