Australian Brett Coletta has followed up his good start to the Korn Ferry Tour’s TPC Colorado Championship, adding a second round of 70 to his opening 68 on the TPC Colorado layout and the 23- year-old is just four shots from the lead held by first-round leader Nelson Ledesma and two shots from second place.

Coletta has stopped the rot of a run of six consecutive missed cuts and finds himself in a share of 6th place as the event heads into the weekend in Berthoud in Colorado.

Aided by a hole in one during his opening round of 68 yesterday, Coletta had no such luck today but he overcame a double bogey early in his back nine with a strong finishing burst, including an eagle at the 15th, to stay in touch as the event heads into the weekend.

Jamie Arnold was the next best of the Australians in a share of 10th place, just one shot behind Coletta, while Cameron Percy and Rhein Gibson are in 39th place and Brett Drewitt 55th.

New Zealander Nick Voke is tied for 26th.
