Holman is currently 59th on the European Tour money list, or Race to Dubai as it is known, and with just the leading 60 players earning a start at the lucrative season ending event at the Jumeirah Estates in Dubai srating next Thursday he needs to secure enough money this week to hold off those behind him and perhaps advance his position.
Holman won one of the early season events on the European Tour when he survived a playoff over Dylan Frittelli and Harold Varner 111 at the Australian PGA Championship on the Gold Coast last December and has done enough since to consolidate his position on the European Tour.
His most recent form has been disappointing however with a best of 37th in his last 15 starts, ten of which he has failed to make the weekend.
