Australians have struggled through the opening two rounds of the Web.Com Tour's Nova Scotia Open in Halifax in Canada, Alistair Presnell doing the best of them in 31st position and eight shots from the leader.

Mathew Goggin and Jake Younan were the other Australians to make it to the weekend, with Queenslander Adam Crawford missing out by just one shot.

Presnell is currently the second highest ranked Australian on the 2014 Web.Com Tour money list, the Victorian in 30th position chasing one of the all important top 25 places at season's end.
