Ten Australians and two New Zealanders will line up at four venues across England and Scotland today as they chase a late inclusion in the Open Championship field.

At Gailes Links near Prestwick Terry Pilkadaris and Jordan Zunic get their chance to secure one of the three places at that venue although they must head off a total of 72 entries there.

At Hillside in Southport in Lancashire, David Bransdon, Scott Arnold and Jason Scrivener will tee it up again for one of three spots available from that venue.

At Royal Cinque Ports in Kent, Richard Green is the only Australian although New Zealander Steve Alker is also in the field of 72 for three Open Championship berths.

The final venue is at Woburn near Milton Keynes in England Anthony Murdaca, Jarry Felton, Ben Eccles and amateur Cameron Davis will line-up along with New Zealander Ryan Fox.

The qualifying represents almost the last chance for those not already qualified although further qualifying spots are available from the upcoming French and Scottish Opens and this week’s PGA Tour event the Barracuda Championship.

Australasians already qualified for the Open Championship are Jason Day, Adam Scott, Marc Leishman, Steven Bowditch, Nick Cullen, Rod Pampling, Matt Jones, Nathan Holman, Scott Hend and Danny Lee.
