Professional golfing careers, both new and established, are on the line over the next two weeks as Stage One qualifying at three venues for the 2018 PGA Tour of Australasia begins today.

At Sandhurst Golf Club in Melbourne, Riverside Oaks Golf Resort in the north west of Sydney and at the Noosa Springs Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast aspiring golfers will attempt to gain access to the Final Stage later in December in their quest to have a place to play next year.

A total of 158 golfers at the three venues are currently entered and around 25 per cent of those will join those exempt from Stage One Qualifying at the Final Stage at Moonah Links on the Mornington Peninsula between December 19th and 22nd.

Players involved in Stage One include the likes of former Australian Amateur champions Tim Stewart, Rohan Blizard and Scott Arnold who is also a former Victorian Open winner, semi finalist at the US Amateur and former world number one amateur, Brady Watt, and  former New Zealand Amateur Champions Joshua Munn and Matthew Perry.

The first event of the 2018 PGA Tour of Australasia season will be the inaugural REBEL Sport Masters at Wainui Golf Club north of Auckland in New Zealand.
