While not yet game to try the daring shot in competition as Lefty has, Sanchez showed how it's done during a practise session at his home club, Sandhurst, in Melbourne's south-east.
With a few balls and a couple of golf clubs laying on the green as he perfectly executed the reverse flop over his head, it's hard to know how many attempts the 20-year-old had at the shot, but regardless of whether it was first try to 50th try, it's a remarkable shot to pull off.
Sanchez - who is also a pennant player at Royal Melbourne - rose to prominence in January when he defeated Western Australian Min Woo Lee in the Australian Amateur final at Yarra Yarra in Melbourne.
