Ashley Hall's good year continues

Victoria's Ashley Hall has finished 3rd at the Brasil Champions presented by HSBC event in Sao Paulo in Brazil, continuing a solid start to his second season on the Web.Com Tour and increasing his chances of playing his way to the PGA Tour in 2015.

In his rookie season on the Web.Com Tour last year, Hall went agonisingly close to earning his PGA Tour card in a season where he lost playoffs in consecutive events.

Hall has made all three cuts to date this season in Colombia, Chile and now Brazil and found the time amongst it all to play the New Zealand Open in Queenstown where he finished 4th.

The event was won by American Jon Curran who won by four over recent winner, Alex Cejka, the latter of whom has now finished first and second in two Web.Com Tour events this season.

Cameron Percy 9th and Mathew Goggin 12th were the next two leading Australians.
