The Victorian had made a good start to the season to be in contention for a place inside the all important top twenty five on the Web.Com Tour money list but has missed six of his last seven cuts and had fallen to 47th.
His effort to finish four behind this week's winner, American Tony Finau, and just one shot out of second position will move Hall close to the top 30 and within striking distance of the top 25, the finalisation of which is determined at the completion of three more events in the regular season.
The leading twenty five players before the four event final series beginning at the end of August with the Hotel Fitness Tournament are assured of status on the PGA Tour in 2015.
Hall narrowly missed out last year then performed poorly in the finals so will be hoping for a better finish to the season this year.
Mathew Goggin finished 28th and Aron Price and former winner Michael Sim in31st position.
