Adam Crawford shares second in Utah

Adam Crawford has recorded his best finish on the Web.Com Tour with a tie for second at the Utah Championship Presented by Zions Bank at the Willow Creek Country Club in Sandy in Utah.

Crawford overcame a slow start to the event to record rounds of 61, 69 and 66 over the closing 54 holes to share second with Korean Sung Kang and American Travis Bertoni albeit five shots behind American Andres Gonzales.

Crawford is in his second full season on the Web Tour Tour and this week's effort betters his previous best of 6th which he recorded at the Midwest Classic at about the same time last year.

Crawford has missed more cuts than he has made this season so this represents a significant turnaround and will move him just outside the top 50 on the money list.

Victoria's Steve Allan tied for 7th this week.
