Adam Crawford contends in Utah

Queenslander Adam Crawford made a big move on day two of the Web.Com Tour's Utah Classic, the 38 year old second season Web.Com Tour player adding a round of 61 to his opening round of 71 to be at 10 under and just three shots from the 36 hole leader, American Andres Gonzales.

Travis Bertoni and Steve Wheatcroft are tied for second two shots behind the lead with Crawford in a share of 4th position.

Steve Allan and Alistair Presnell are the next best of the Australians in a share of 15th and five shots from the lead.

Peter Lonard was the only other Australian to make the cut in 48th position.

It has not been a good season to date for Crawford having missed nine of 14 cuts and with only one top ten in two seasons on the Web.Com Tour this presents an opportunity to advance his cause significantly.

Crawford recently began work with Australian based Peak Performance coach, Sean Lynch, and if today's effort is anything to go by then it might well have been the tonic for a game that has, as yet, not yielded the results it should have.
