15 Australians Advance To Asian Q School Final

The final stage of Asian Tour Qualifying School next week will feature an extra 15 Australians who survived the first stage in Thailand this week.

Josh Younger was the standout performer at the qualifier posting a 12-under total for the four rounds to claim top spot at the St Andrews 2000 course.

He beat home fellow Australian Dale Brandt Richards by a shot with Ashley Hall, Callan O’Reilly, Matt Stieger, Andrew Martin and Oliver Goss also among the 36 players to advance.

At the Silky Oak course Nathan Mann and Dale Williamson finished among the top 12 to earn a spot for next week while Michael Choi, Jason Bryce and Mitchell Brown finished inside the top 43 to advance at the Rayong Green Valley club.

Cory Crawford, Troy Moses and Michael Wright were the final three Australians to qualify, the trio among the 20 top scorers at the Windsor Park course.

The final stage of the annual Tour School will be played over 90 holes this week at the Rayong Valley course in Thailand with a total of 27 Australians now in the field.

The 15 qualifiers from this week join Jarryd Felton, Darren Beck, David Gleeson, Jack Wilson, Steven Jeffress, James Marchesani, Jake McLeod, Kieran Pratt, Peter Stojanovski, Travis Smyth, Deyen Lawson and Maverick Antcliff.
